I’m a creative executive based in New York City.

I spent the first 18 years of my career writing and editing for newspapers and magazines – catching the tail end of print media’s glory days as a Senior Editor at GQ, where a story I commissioned was adapted into the hit Netflix series Last Chance U.

From there I pivoted to the business world with a position on the editorial staff at Apple, where I got to experience hitting a trillion-dollar valuation. After that I became Global Copy Director for Levi’s, where I established the corporate voice and orchestrated consumer messaging for the legendary brand that invented the blue jean. Then came a stint overseeing content for Hodinkee, the most important voice in the world of wristwatches.

Today I'm the Senior Vice President and Global Head of Content for Sotheby's – the world’s oldest, largest, and best marketplace for fine art and luxury collectibles.

Along the way, I’ve contributed stories about art and design to The New York Times and taught the craft of writing at three different universities: Ole Miss, the University of Georgia, and New York University.

My experience encompasses every discipline of storytelling (text, photography, video, podcast, graphic design, and social media) and includes managing diverse teams of ambitious creatives.
